Kimball and I don't have any allergies like Dieter, but growing up I had a chronic runny nose. I didn't discover until after I was married that cutting certain foods out of my diet would clear up my runny nose (oh, and my chronic headache). Kimball has digestive issues (I'm sure he'll love for the world to know). Anyway, put our weaknesses together and we get Dieter! Cute, but lots of problems. I believe this diet will heal our whole family and I am looking forward to whole foods and home cooking!!

Stumbled onto your blog today, can't even remember how, but, there are no accidents!
I believe healthy guts heal as well. Our kiddo had cashew allergy, needed an epi-pen and many years later....no more allergy. I think unrelated food-things trigger inflamation, set off an immune reaction and voila you get illness. I'm going to look into this GAPS diet, we can all stand to eat better and be healthier.
Good luck with everything.
