Our sweet Nellie was born at home on January 24th. My babies arrive late...I was very excited when she decided to come at 41 weeks! There is something so special about having a newborn around. I absolutely love it! The delivery was great- super fast and Nellie weighed in at 9 lb. 1 oz. My biggest baby yet! We are all so much in love and I wish the newborn stage lasted a little bit longer.

Samantha and Nellie. She wants to hold Nellie all day.

One of my goals for 2013 is to post more often. I've really neglected my blog since I have been pregnant. My baby is due in 2 weeks and hopefully I will have a little more motivation after she arrives...but we'll see...3 kids...under the age of 3...maybe not?
We had a great Christmas. Dieter and Samantha both got cowboy hats and boots. I made them this teepee from Ana White. They love it! It was fun to see how excited Dieter was on Christmas morning. Now I am getting my house ready for the baby to arrive. I'm glad my nesting stage has kicked in. It seems my house has been a disaster until now.
Happy New Year everyone!
I'm excited to see what 2013 brings.

I have had no motivation to blog! We are expecting a baby girl in January and are super excited! I don't know about you, but when I am pregnant I don't get a whole lot of stuff done. I told Kimball I can accomplish one thing around the house a day. Really one thing...don't come to my house. Most days it's pretty scary. But, I'm okay with the chaos because I know it will pass when my sweet little girl is here!

We celebrated Dieter and Samantha's birthdays over the weekend.
Samantha's birthday was May 11th and Dieter's June 11th.
Dieter was so excited!
He has been waiting for everyone to sing to him :)
And he has been practicing holding up 3 fingers. (it's hard work for a little one).
They loved them!

It wasn't very successful.
We made it to the city pool.
The have an awesome play area for little ones.
Dieter wanted to sit on the bench and eat his snacks. The. Whole. Time.
When we finally made it to the water, he didn't want to get in.
Samantha was terrified and clung to my neck.
Dieter eventually stepped in the water and I think he even laid down in it.
Next time, I will take Kimball.
I thought Samantha looked adorable in her swim suit though.
I love the chubby thighs!
