I found this over at Ruth's Real Food. Thanks Ruth! It is so sad that children do not even now what a tomato is! Parents, it is up to us to teach our children! I taught 1st and 2nd grade and there is not enough time in the day to teach every child, on their level, at their speed...One thing I learned from teaching is the huge responsiblity I have to teach my own children!

Oh dear. That's not good. My girls know what a tomato is because about the only thing I hear about their preschool day is what their snack was. They'll never eat their tomatoes. I'm not sure why because I love 'em! Yesterday they had brocolli, though and they like that.
